Elliot Health System celebrated the season of giving with donations of food, clothing and animal care items to support organizations in the greater Manchester area. More than 17,000 pounds in turkeys, and 2,000 pounds of additional food donations were given to the New Hampshire Food bank, Manchester Police Athletic League, and Roca Kidz Club to help families in need.

In addition to food donations, Elliot Health System staff donated several large bags of warm clothing to Brookside Congregational Church. Items were also donated to the Friends of Manchester Animal Shelter. Staff gave six large dog crates that were filled with donated cleaning products, food, treats, and beds. Donations were collected on November 17th.

“At The Elliot, we are proud to serve our community with life-changing care. We also take great pride in pulling together as a community to help families and individuals in need beyond the health care we provide,” said Dr. Greg Baxter, President and CEO of Elliot Health System. “We are part of the Manchester community, and our staff is deeply invested in the health and wellbeing of the people who live here. We hope these donations will make the holiday season a little easier and brighter for many.”
