Elliot Health System announces that Carol Furlong, LCMHC, MAC, MBA of the Substance Use Services Department at Elliot Hospital, is recognized by Rivier University as its 2022 Outstanding Nurse/Healthcare Professional. Carol graduated from Rivier University with an MBA in Healthcare Administration and she has served at The Elliot since 2018. In her role, she trains staff and providers on the latest information and research about substance use, and engages with the Manchester community in promotion of Elliot’s Substance Use programs and efforts to address, prevent and treat co-occurring disorders.

She is always willing to help and share information with everyone from patients, to colleagues around the state, to students who are looking to obtain a degree so they can work in this field. We are so fortunate that she is part of our healthcare team.”

 

The honor is given to alumni who utilize their education to make a difference in their profession. The healthcare award from Rivier University specifically goes to healthcare employees who demonstrate a commitment to excellence and service to patients, as well as demonstrate professional achievement in their profession.
