In both Manchester, at Elliot Hospital, and Nashua, at Southern New Hampshire Health, there is a long history of delivering comprehensive, patient-centered cancer care. In December of 2020, SolutionHealth, the parent company of Elliot Health System and Southern New Hampshire, announced its two campuses will work as one service line across the region, collectively to be known as the SolutionHealth Cancer Institute, and partner with Mass General Hospital to enhance services.

“Our vision is to create a system-wide, multi-site regional cancer program that provides patients with seamless access to surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, and support services, including nurse navigation, to support patients and their families through every step of their cancer journey, from diagnosis through survivorship,” says SolutionHealth President and CEO Sherry Hausmann.

At the Solinsky Center for Cancer Care at The Elliot and the cancer center at Southern New Hampshire Health, patients will find expert local care led by our talented clinicians. When a second opinion is needed, or more advanced care is needed, SolutionHealth has partnered with Mass General Cancer Center to ensure every patient gets the right care, in the right place, at the right time.

The SolutionHealth Cancer Institute, in collaboration with Mass General Cancer Center, is designed to improve the patient experience while providing the very best care possible. Among the areas of focus is expanded access to phase 1 clinical trials, enhanced genetic and molecular testing, advanced clinical care for advanced and rare cancers, and multi-disciplinary clinical management that will extend through all phases of a patient’s treatment journey. All available here, close to home.

“I truly believe we have a unique opportunity to create something special for the residents of New Hampshire,” says Hausmann. “Excellent local cancer care services paired with Mass General’s advanced specialty services. Simply put, the SolutionHealth Cancer Institute is designed to provide comprehensive compassionate care to every person.”
